How can I apply for an advance on my commission?
My Commission Today service is fast and easy to use. 

  1. Just fax us a filled out and signed Application to Sell your Account Receivable along with all the supporting documents.
  2. Upon receipt of the application, we will then approve your real estate commission advance and notify you of the funds being deposited into your checking account.

What supporting information do I need to supply?
Along with the signed Application to Sell the Account Receivable, you will need to include the following supporting information:

  • Copy of your completed sale contract
  • Copy of the MLS Listing. – (if applicable)
  • Copy of pre-approval or mortgage commitment letter.
  • Reply to home inspection. – (if applicable)
  • Copy of a valid ID. – (first time customers)
  • Copy of your Real Estate License. – (first time customers)

Does the state I live in have any restrictions on getting a real estate commission advance?
My Commission Today offers commission advances to real estate agents nationwide in all US based states except OH (Ohio).

How can My Commission Today help my business needs?
As a Realtor, projecting your monthly expenses is relatively simple compared to forecasting your income. My Commission Today assists you in managing your cash flow. How much of an advance can I receive?
You can receive up to eighty percent of your “net earned commission” and up to a maximum of ten thousand dollars per transaction.

What does it cost to use the services of My Commission Today?

  • Documentation Fee - There is a one hundred dollar documentation fee.

  • Advance Fee - Our advance fee is contingent on the date of settlement. If settlement is within sixty days, then the advance fee will be ten percent of the account receivable. If settlement is greater than sixty days and less than ninety days, then the advance fee will be twelve percent of the account receivable.

There will be a refundable reserve. The reserve is not a fee. Each advance will require a ten percent reserve. The reserve will be returned to you as long as MCT receives the advance in full from either the broker or the settlement company within five business days of the scheduled closing.

Will my personal information be safe with your company?
YES. Your confidential information will not be sold or distributed in any way. At My Commission Today we respect your privacy.

Do you run a credit check?
NO. We will not run a credit check.

Can I receive any tax benefits by using your real estate commission advance service?
YES. When you use the proceeds of your advance commission exclusively for your real estate business, the cost can be tax deductible. Always consult with your personal financial advisor.

Can I get a commission advance on a HUD sale?
My Commission Today will definitely accept applications for commissions from HUD contracts.

Does My Commission Today offer advances to real estate brokers?
At this time, we do not.  We like to see a third party help process the transaction between the agent and My Commission Today.

What happens if the real estate sale falls through?
If a sale fails to close, you have several options for repaying your advanced commission:

  1. Submit a replacement sales contract(s).
  2. Re-pay the advance outright.
  3. A combination of the above.

How do I repay My Commission Today?
My Commission Today, LLC will be paid directly from either your settlement company, attorney, closing agent, escrow company, or real estate broker.
